Let the countdown begin! In seven days we will witness one of the most anticipated royal weddings ever, especially if like me, you are an American! Prince Harry will marry Meghan Markle at Windsor Chapel on May 19, 2018, in what promises to be a beautiful showcase of British royalty pomp and circumstance. And who does not love this on a royal wedding? Oh little Meghan has grown up so much. I remember her days at Hallmark movies and then I was an avid reader of her lifestyle blog— The Tig. When it closed, I knew something major was happening because she loved her blog. So I’m really happy for her!
And as with any royal wedding— a viewing party, even for one (as I will have)— is a must! Key ingredient is champagne, but for a truly British affair (especially that early in the morning for us Americans) tea is essential. And while any tea would be good, this occasion deserves something special. You may procrastinated a bit on getting your tea, but I’m sure you can find sites that will deliver it very expediently to your doorstep. Here are five teas that are fantastic for a royal wedding viewing party!

A limited edition blend to commemorate the marriage of HRH Prince Henry of Wales and Ms Meghan Markle on 19th May. This blend is the perfect marriage of English and American-grown mint with Jasmine green tea and is adorned with rose petals. Wonderful hot and superb iced too. Happy marriage!

HARNEY & SONS ‘ROYAL WEDDING’

FORTNUM & MASON ‘WEDDING BREAKFAST’ TEA
The 'Wedding Breakfast' tea was create to commemorate the 2011 marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. However, it remains a favorite, and I am all for wonderful tea. Premium Assam is lifted by the adding Kenyan tea—the location of Prince William’s marriage proposal.
NINA’S THÉ de MARIE ANTOINETTE
While not British, Nina's blend is equally special and equally royals. This is my number one favorite tea in the world. This blend from Nina’s Paris and dedicated to Marie Antoinette, is scented with delicious fresh apples & rose, with a touch of strongness with Black Ceylon tea basis Apple aroma done with apples coming directly from King’s Kitchen Garden – Versailles. It is a beautiful and delicate blend that is a bit more special than your normal every day tea. It will brighten your day.
