Meet Angie

Ang, a transplant from the Caribbean to Minnesota, is a Master Gardener, trail runner, foodie and lover of all things gardening. While the move from island life to the Midwest was a big change, especially the winters, she’s embraced the beauty of the area, from breathtaking sunsets to wide-open fields. Though she’s immersed in rural life with her husband, a crop farmer, and enjoys the quiet, close-knit community, her heart is still torn between the island life she grew up with and the quiet life she’s come to love. When the longing for the sea calls, she simply imagines it or hops on a plane to get a taste of her tropical roots.

Meet Riley

Meet Riley, the 11-year-old Wheaten Terrier who's still got the spunk of a pup! Despite his age, he's as mischievous as ever, always ready to stir up trouble (especially if it involves chasing rabbits or stealing a bite of food). Riley might hate cats, but he loves being by his moma’s side, especially when she’s in the garden. When he’s not being a little troublemaker, you’ll find him snoozing soundly—snoring like a bear and falling asleep in the blink of an eye. With his adorable face and endless energy, Riley’s the perfect mix of cuteness and chaos!
