Floral Friday: Peaches N’ Creme Dahlia

This year I grew a few new dahlias, and one of them is Peaches N’ Creme. This lovely lady is everything I hoped it would be and more. This is a bi-colored bloom that is mostly pink petals that turn a warm peachy color towards the center, making for a striking combination that is subtle but so beautiful.

This dahlia is categorized as a formal decorative. And while mine is mostly light pink, some plants can be mostly the peachy orange with a little bit of pink. But what I love the most is that stunning shape! The petals curve back creating the most perfect full rounded flower.

Some additional details:
Flower type: formal decorative
Height: 5’
Site: full sun
Days to maturity: 80-100 days
Plant spacing: 12-18”
Pinch: when plants are 12” tall

Some of the tips are a little brown because the fabric from the bag I put over the blooms while maturing, stuck to the flower after a rain.

Do you grow this dahlia?
